Do you ever notice that every magazine, every commercial, and every piece of mail has the claim for free giveaways. In all my life, I’ve never registered to win, and I’ve never heard of someone in my life who’s won something.
SO – I’m conducting an experiment. I will register to win for every opportunity I see to win a prize for a YEAR. It’s going to take a lot of time and dedication – but gosh darn it…I’M GOING TO WIN SOME STUFF!!!!

I usually don’t win things, either, but it depends on what you enter. I now enter sweeps that have lots of winners of smaller prizes.
Freebies4Mom posts a sweeps list with current sweeps to enter easily and for free, so if you have 5 minutes, go enter some sweeps and win something!

I’ve won many of jars of free salsa from Pace, free chips from Subway, free products from Kraft, free boxes of cereal from Cheerios, free chocolate bars from Mars, free gallons of milk, several free $25 gift cards from Coke and Huggies, a $50 gift card from Nabisco, and a $1000 gift card from Home Depot! This was all in about a period of 1 1/2 years.
