Don’t Misquote Me

June 11, 2008

Yesterday, I attended a community event for the upcoming DNC in Denver in August. To my shock, I was in the Rocky Mountain News today….crazy public forums! I don’t even think that’s what I said, but it sounds pretty good anyway:

Cool, even if in a “would have made more sense to have this in Boulder” kind of way.

Ha! Mark, You would have been miserable yesterday. It was pretty charged up with some rantings from liberals.

They are having another meeting today at 5pm if you’re interested…maybe you can get in the paper.

Can’t, going to see “Sex in the City”.

Can’t, going to “Stop global earthquakes to save the Pandas” charity concert featuring Sheryl Crow.

Can’t, going to “Industrail Hemp as Alternative Energy” lecture.

Just kidding of course, but all better ways to hang around a bunch of commies than at an official political event.

I forgot to ask earlier, but how in the world did you find the in the newspaper? I wasn’t sure they still printed these things now that print is dead. I must assume that someone much, much, so very much older than you brought this to your attention.
